My favorite places to shop in a budget
7:00 AM
I'm wearing: Target Stacia sandals | Henri Bendel bag from Poshmark | Thrifted Vintage Calvin Klein Jeans (only $2) | H&M ribbed off the shoulder top (comes in three colors)
When I was editing these pictures I had one of those A-HA moments because I realized everything I'm wearing was either second hand or bought on clearance but to be honest, that's how the majority of my clothes are. Although I shop a lot, specially online, I don't spend a lot of money shoes or clothes. I have a few stores that never dissapoint me when it comes to find the best deals:
Express Factory Outlet
Not to be confused with its sister Store Express. Although they carry similar items, Express Factory Outlet doesn't have a website and has a much lower price point and crazy discounts all year long. This is a really good place to find office wardrobe staples like blazers and pants, or very affordable casual dresses.
Here I shop once in a while for t-shirts, swimsuits and bodysuits, mostly things I don't like to spend a lot of money on. Their graphic tee selection is pretty good and last year they had really nice coats for less than $50. Keep an eye on it this winter!
This is my go to for basics like buttoned shirts, plain tees and sweatshirts. It's also a good place to find something last minute. They have lots of trendy pieces, casual clothes and office staples. The top I'm wearing in this post is from H&M and was only $8
They have it all, from swimsuits, trendy pieces and ever night gowns. I love that they carry petite, plus and maternity sizes. They truly have something for everyone
When it comes to quality Shein is not the best, but definitely a great webside for bargain finds on trendy pieces. Most things run small and often they don't look as pictured. Luckily they have a really good return policy! I recommend to always read the reviews first a double check the measurements.
They're my favorite shoe store. I love how comfy their heels are. Their price point is not the lowest, but they often have really good discount codes , and sales in low inventory. I talked more about in on this post.
Who doesn't love target? It always has been a favorite of mine for home decor and kitchen staples but lately their fashion deparment is on point too. Brands like A New Day and Who What Wear are a favorite of mine. Always check their shoe clearance section, I got the sandals I'm wearing in this post for $5
Walmart definitely has been stepping up their game on the fashion department. Their next day shipping, low prices and TONS of brands to chose from makes it one of my favorite places to shop online. Walmart recently teamed up with Lord and Taylor, and now also they also offer premium brands like Vince Camuto, Calvin Klein and more.
They have E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G! accesories, handbags, shoes, women, men & kids clothes and a huge selection of name brands typically with discounted price tags. They're 365 days return policy with FREE returns via UPS has literally changed my online shopping experience forever.
I not only buy but also sell my gently used clothes here. (SHOP MY CLOSET) Most sellers offer discounts or even free shipping when you purchase multiple items. I got the Henri Bendel bag I'm wearing on this post for $70 and it came with tags and their original dustbag and box. Such a steal!
Thrift stores
I try to check my favorite thrift store at least every few months. I typically look for vintage denim, oversized blazers, sweaters and coats. I think thrift shopping it's a topic that deserves its own post!
