Summer time Chicago + my favorite rooftops and patios

Once summer kicks-in definitely Chicago is the prettiest. Summer time in Chicago makes you forget about the never ending winter and you fall in love with the city once again. I love spending as much time as I can outside, so brunch and drinks on a patio or a rooftop are a must. Here are some of my favorite places:
1. Cyndi's rooftop (donwntown): Drinks are delicious and you get a really nice view to millenium park . I'm pretty sure this is all the way through fall and maybe some winter months.
2. LondonHouse (downtown): The view from this rooftoop is amazing, you can see pretty much all the river and the surroundings in downtown. This place can be pricey but I think it's totally worth it
3. Park & Field (wicker park): Also open all year round, this patio offers tons of cozy seating, firepits , brunch options and fun games. It's always really crowded so I recommend going early
4. Cabra (fulton market): I recently visited this one but I really liked the menu, they have a lot of ceviches and cold plates, just what you need during this summer weather. Their outside area has a pool!
5. City winery (dontown): Located in the riverwalk this is a good place to stop by if you're by the area. You can order a wine, sit outside by the stairs on the riverwalk and watch the boats and doggies pass by. Gets me in that summer mood every time.
6. VU rooftop bar (south loop): I think this is one of the few rooftoops in south loop and definitely a good one. Also open all year round, the patio has retractable glass walls and firepits for when the temperatures drop.
7. Aire (donwntwon): Located on the Hyatt centric , this rooftop offers really good views of the area, a huge patio with umbrellas and a really good menu of small bites, wine & drinks.
8. La sirena Clandestina (fulton market): Although this patio is small and honestly not that cute it needed to be on the list just because they have a really good happy hour menu that includes, empanadas, salads and tasty caipirihnas every tuesday from 5 to 7. I love a happy hour that I can actually make it to after work
9. Federales (fulton market): Must go for a good vibe and even better tacos. I feel it's always a good time no matter when you go.
