Something I've learn over the past few years is that a good pair of over the knee boots are your biggest ally during fall & winter. You can wear the most basic of the outfits  and pair your boots with it, and bam! you go from casual to chic in seconds. That's what I call the over the knee boots efect. Here I'm wearing my latest obsession (this super comfy leather leggings) with a basic long sleeve tee, for extra girly points I just added the tassel earrings and a cute purse. I'm not huge on wearing leggings but lately I've been loving this leather leggings + OTK boots so much!
