If you follow me on instagram you probably already know that I recently escaped away from the cold and spent a weekend in Florida.
The original plan was to go on a road trip from Chicago to somewhere closer (think about Ohio or maybe Detroit at most). But a week before our "departure date" I received a package from Andre Assous with the most perfect and comfy espadrilles. If you're on the market for some new shoes for summer I definitely recommend you to check their website. These wedges are my favorite!
No way I was going to leave my new babies sitting in my closet until summer, so that same night I looked for (cheap) flights to some place warmer, and that's how I ended up in Orlando.
My new espadrilles and a pair of sneakers were the only shoes I packed for this trip. So I put togheter this "lookbook" of my outfits to show you how versatile this shoes are and also to give you some ideas on how to wear them.
Day 1
Wearing: Andre Assous Carmela Sandals (c/o) | Forever 21 High waisted jeans (these are my favorite pair and only $12) | Tobi Crop top (form poshmark) : similar - similar - similar | Discovery Jean Jacket (old): similar - similar | Forever 21 earrings
We landed in Orlando around 10 pm, and by the time we got to the hotel it was almost midnight and we were starving! I quickly changed into a croc top and these black wedges Then went to have dinner by "The Orlando Eye" . After dinner we went dancing and also spent some time walking around the area. I swear I didn't even feel I was wearing heels. These sandals are super comfy!
ps. I recreated the oufit the next morning. I'm pretty sure that night I look more like a mess after 8 hrs at my job followed by a 3 hr plane ride.
Day 2
Wearing: Andre Assous Cameron Suede Sandals (c/o) They run a little bit thight, size up! | Shein bow swimsuit (only $12) , Runs small | Foster Grant sunglasses
The next morning we headed out to Cocoa Beach. I wore the cutest one piece swimsuit paired with high waisted shorts and these camel espadrilles . I love wearing one piece swimsuits to the beach because you can easily transition them from the beach to the restaurant by simply throwing some shorts or a kimono on top.
That same night after we came back from Cocoa Beach, we went to "The City Walk" . I knew there was going to be a lot of walking involved so I wanted to wear something comfy but still look put together. I wore this Little off-shoulder Black dress paired with the black wedges & red earrings to add a pop of color.
Day 3
Wearing: Andre Assous Cameron Suede Sandals (c/o) They run a little bit thight, size up! | Always on Vacay Swimsuit, runs TTS (ONLY $10) | Foster Grant sunglasses
Our last day, we decided to stay at the hotel to Chill at the pool. I wore another one piece swimsuit with shorts and the camel espadrilles. Did you notice is the same combo than in day two? It always works!
Lately I"m very into one piece swimsuits, specially if they have some sort of graphic or quote printed. These is currently on sale for $10.
