I have worn glasses since I was 15, and until this day (10 years later) I still don't feel confident wearing them. I ONLY wear my glasses at home and at the office. The rest of the time I simply accept the inconveniences of not having perfect vision.

I've been thinking about getting contact lenses for about a year, mostly because I drive to my blogger events after work and I usually come back home late. Driving at night forcing my eyesight is definitely not healthy for my eyes. It is something I really wanted to take care of this fall, because we all know nights are about to start way sooner. At least here in Chicago it gets dark around 4:30 Ugh!

So I just stopped procrastinating and I booked my eye exam online on Targetoptical.com. I was surprised on how easy it was, you simply have to write your zip code to find the Target Optical® nearest to you. Then you will be prompted to another screen when you can choose the day and time for your appointment.

I showed up to Target Optical® super excited the next day. After filling a questionnaire and getting some vision tests done, the doctor talked to me about the different types of ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses lenses available. She made me feel really comfortable asking all the questions I had and finally we decided that the ACUVUE® would be the best option for me.

The doctor knew this was my first time wearing lenses so before finishing my appointment she also taught me the proper wear to put on and remove the lenses, how to clean them and store them.
