Once again TRESemmé was the official hair care sponsor of New York Fashion Week , but this time they weren't only backstage prepping the models for the runway . To celebrate this is their 15th season as the official haircare sponsor, TRESemmé stylists were in different spaces at NYFW offering all the lucky guests complimentary styling services inspired by past and present runway hair looks, using TRESemmé’s diverse portfolio of products.
And for all of us that didn't go TRESemmé has created "Style Setters series" , a sneak peak behind the scenes at NYFW with tips on how to get the trendy hair looks at home. Today I decided to recreate a fun trend from the 80's: the crimped hairstyle and I'm going to show you a quick tutorial on how to make it, you won't believe how easy it is.

Una vez mas TRESemmé fue el patrocinador oficial de productos de cabello en el New York Fashion Week, pero esta vez no solo estuvieron tras bambalinas preparando a las modelos para las pasarelas. Para celebrar que esta es la 15va temporada a cargo, los estilistas de TRESemmé estuvieron en distintos lugares del NYFW ofreciendo a los invitados servicios de estilismo complementarios, haciendoles peinados inspirados en los looks de pasarela de ayer y hoy utilizando toda la gama de productos TRESemmé.
Y para todos aquellos que no estuvimos presente alla, TRESemmé creo "Style Setters series" en youtube, una miradita detras de camaras del NYFW con tips sobre como crear los peinados de moda en casa. Hoy quise recrear una tendencia de los 80's y les voy a ensenar como hacerlo, es super sencillo!
What you will need: bobby pins, hair spray and a flat iron.
How to: Crimp a section of hair by rolling it the over a bobby pin and pressing it a couple seconds with the flat iron, finally lose the hair section and apply spray on it to keep it on place.*optional: I loosen the crimped section a little bit for a messier look

Que nececitas: pasadores, spray para cabello y una plancha de cabello.
Como hacerlo: Primero separa una parte pequena de cabello y enrollala alrededor de un pasador, despues, utilizando la plancha presiona el pasador con cabello por unos segundos, por ultimo, suelta el cabello y aplica un poco mas de spray para mantenerlo en su lugar. *Opcional: Yo deshice un poco mas la onda para que quedara mas despeinado.
