Help Child with hunger with Albertsons Safeway
7:00 AM* El post de hoy es solo en inglés
This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Albertsons Safeway . The opinions and text are all mine.
When I was younger and naive/foolish , once in awhile I used to complain about "don't know what to eat", I remember that my dad alway stelling me " you shouldn't complain about that but be grateful because you have a lot options to eat every day when other people are asking " will we have something to eat today?" ....
Now I know I was a privilege kid just because we always had food on the table and it's heartbreaking to know that in fact 1 of every 5 kids JUST in America are suffering with hunger. That is why I decided to partnering with Albertsons Safeway on this campaign (Hunger Is) to bring awareness to childhood hunger.
Albertsons Safeway stores are taking part in The hunger Is campaign to raise funds to end child hunger. And what can you do to help? Shopping!
Yes, from september 1 through 30 you can go to any Albertsons Safeway store : Albertsons, Safeway, Randalls, Vons, Pavilions, Jewel-Osco, United Supermarkets, Tom Thumb, Acme, Star Market, Shaws, Carrs / Safeway, Market Street & Amigos and make a donation at checkout. Also any purchase a product from participating brands like: Con Agra (Marie Calender’s, Healthy Choice, Bertolli’s, and PF Changs brands), Coke, Unilever (Breyer’s and Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream), Kellogg’s, and Campbell’s earns a free meal for a hungry child in need.
If you don't live near any participating store you can make a donation online or volunteer for hunger is.
Maybe you finished reading this and you're still wondering why a post like this is in a "fashion or beauty blog". Well the truth is that this problem is something I've always been concerned about and if I as an "Influencer" (like PR companies like to call us) can use this so called "influence" do a little something to raise awareness and help others in need I will. I hope I was able to bring attention and now you're willing to help too, even if you don't live in the US you can do your bit in your own country either giving a meal to a homeless person, donating food to a shelter, volunteering in a soup kitchen .. possibilities are endless.
What are you doing to help today?
