I've always find interesting all the American Celebrations, mostly because every single one of them has its different decorations, special food and even a dress code!! Since this was my first 4 of july living in Chicago I was really excited to celebrate this holiday in American style so we decided to go to the lakefront to do a picnic, watch the fireworks and of course to take some pictures! It's a shame our camera doesn't take good pictures when we have a bright background but I hope you like them.

Las celebraciones americanas siempre me han parecido bastante curiosas, cada una tiene su decoracion característica, comida especial e incluso un "código de vestir" para el dia. Como este año fue mi primer 4 de julio viviendo en Estados Unidos quise pasar el dia festivo celebrando al estilo americano, así que fuimos al lago a hacer un picnic y ver los fuegos artificiales.  Ustedes como pasaron el 4 de julio?
