The last couple of weeks I've been cleaning my room and I decided to get rid of a couple things that a)I didn't know I have, b) I haven't worn for a long time , c) I don't like them.
Because in a couple days I'm going to move.. And the hardest part about that (besides leaving my cats for a couple months) is to chose what I'm going to pack in my suitcase. Yes! ONLY ONE SUITCASE, I've always liked to travel light even if I'm moving.
In this instance I will only pack clothes and a couple personal items that are sentimental to me. The rest of my stuff will stay back home because in the end that will always be my home.
I still Sounds difficult right? But the truth is that most of our possession are things that we never use and we tend to accumulate too many things. It is until we clean or prepare to move that we being to see what we need and don't need. So I decided to write this list and I'm sure is going to be very helpful in case you want to do a house or room makeover, closet cleaning, etc.
1. Make a list of the things you want to keep.
If you was able to remember those things without even look what you have , it means they mean a lot to you. Keep them!
2. Don't be sentimental
Keeping the first letter your kindergarten boyfriend gave you is a little bit too much, don't you think? Keep the things you actually use.
3. Start cleaning your drawers .
You have no idea how many stuff we have in there. I've found lighters, keychains, tickets and sea shells???
6. Sell some stuff
Knowing that you're going to earn some money out of your old stuff, it's going to make it easier to get rid of it. Websites like craigslist’s, eBay, or amazon are a good place to sell your items.
7. Gift some of your things to your friends
If you have something that you love so much but you can't keep it anymore then give it to a friend is a great way to see your beloved items once in a while when you visit them. Make sure that the person you're going to give your stuff to actually wants it! Another great idea is to create a Facebook album and name it "FREE" or "DONATION" and have friends claim the items they want.
8. Donate to charity
Helping someone in need is a wonderful thing to do. You can donate your clothes and other items to a church, thrift stores or the Salvation Army.
What do you do with the things you get ride? Would yo prefer to sell or donate? You have any other useful advice? Let me know in a comment below.

4. Check your beauty products.
Girls love makeup SO MUCH! and we just buy more and more and sometimes we forget they have expiration date too. This guide may help you.
5.Do a closet cleaning
I can write an entire post about this, (if you want me to write it, then leave me a comment below). To keep it simple, if you haven't wore it in over a year, it is ripped or it doesn't fit you then you should toss it away.
